As our Pappy of the Day series winds down (we have two more) I would be remiss not to honor Philip Shaffer.

Philip is a great Dad to his son Liam, which you can tell by how his son looks at him!  Liam is about to be a year old, so soon Philip won’t be a “new dad” anymore, but to look at him you would think he was an old pro!

Here is what his wife, Ashley, said about him:

Philip is definitely one of a kind (In a good way) I’m truly blessed to have such a wonderful man to call my husband and father to our son. He is full of energy. He’s caring and compassionate, and a very hard worker. Words can’t even describe how great of a father Philip is. Always ready to lend a helping hand, whether its feeding time, bath time, or Liam needs a diaper. I couldn’t imagine a better role model for our little boy! Its my prayer that Liam becomes an amazing God fearing man. Just like his daddy!!
