What a week!

I want to take a moment to thank all of our Purposeful Readers for an amazing first week together!  I am so excited about what the future holds for this site.

I am thrilled to have received Max Lucado’s new book from his publisher and you can expect a review of it soon!  He is a best selling Christian author and partnering with him is an honor! It is exciting that someone so well respected would write a book about the special relationship between a father and his son.  When the review is published you should also be on the look out to win your copy of it!  He sent me a few extras to share!

If you haven’t had a chance to check us out on Facebook, I would encourage you to hop over there and give us a “like.”  I post great tips there daily!  You can find us at http://www.facebook.com/thepurposefulpappy .

Keep on keeping on guys and gals!  Be encouraged and, as always, keep Purposeful Parenting at the forefront of your family!

Easy, Ugly Biscuits

Breakfast for dinner is always a big hit at my house.  We don’t have to work to get the three year old to eat, which makes dinner much more fun, and it is super easy.

Tonight, rather than break out the can of Grands (which there ain’t a thing wrong with using), I broke out an old standby:

Drop Biscuits.

Not only are they super good, they are supposed to be ugly! That way you don’t have to get bummed out if they don’t look like some random picture online.

DIY Marble Maze!

Asher thought that this Marble Maze was awesome!  It is one of those crafts that can be as complicated or as simple as you like, depending on what you have time for!

Keep on reading for a full list of the supplies I used and how we put it together.  We did it before his nap today, but he made me promise not to take it down so that he can keep playing when he wakes up.
